For Hardy Hayes Co., Pittsburgh, (signed on dial) mahogany "Drum on Base" mantel clock in very good original condition. The only things that keeps this from being excellent is a stress crack in the mahogany across the top, and there are other minor nicks and scrapes to the case and to the feet along the rear. The serial number is 20,808, and this clock was shipped to Hardy Hayes on October 9, 1915. (You can obtain this information on a certificate by sending $20 to Chelsea). These models were only produced for a few years and had disappeared by 1917, they are considered rare by Chelsea collectors. House striking, and in running order. Height 16"
