in mahogany in very good condition, with repainted dial. The original finish is intact on the case, which has some old shipping abrasion through the finish on the left upright. The clock bears serial number 6912 which places its production early in Chelsea's history, around 1901. Larry bought this clock from a widow in Delta, Pennsylvania who could not at the time find the top carving. Two years later she phoned him that she had found the top carving under her grand piano, which overjoyed everyone involved with the clock. Original hands, pendulum, pulley, CCCo beat scale and case hardware. Height 48"
