in oak and in excellent original condition. There have been minor glue blocks replaced, but nothing that affects originality. The quarter sawn oak case retains original antique oak finish that has been nicely polished. This clock uses Waterbury's iron cased time only movement with dead beat escapement, and retains the original 2-jar mercury pendulum. (mercury is in a lexan container and must be picked up in NH, we are happy to hold it here). The cousin to this model, the no. 70 wall hanger is commonly seen, however the floor model is hard to find. This clock stood next to the next lot (324) in Larry's foyer. Height 96º" ( grandfather, tallcase )
