in very good original condition. This clock employs the Welch 30 day double spring time movement with club foot escapement. The case retains original finish, but has been rubbed with compound and the finish worn to the wood in a couple of spots (not bad, I just don't want anyone being surprised). The two small finials above the waist molding appear to be replaced (nicely turned). The original dials are excellent, as is the paper label on the rear of the Lewis perpetual calendar mechanism. A nice clock; height 39"
