an unusual wall hanging double dial calendar, made by Welch "Expressly for L.F. and W.W. Carter" (as stated on label). This model is similar to a shelf model made by Solomon Spring around the same time. For detailed information on these clock, see Ly's yellow calendar book, pages 351-353. The lower right column had severed and been nailed on, and is just setting in place for the photo. All the pieces are there and this would be a simple repair. Also retains Welch, Spring/Lewis label on rear of calendar. Overall an uncommon item in excellent condition. Height 47"
