This is a good looking clock and functions well; both the small platform time movement and the spring motor for the windmill are in operating order. Windmill mechanism runs for a few hours on a winding. A nice example. For literature, see Derek Roberts' Mystery, Novelty Fantasy Clocks, page 265., and also refer to Sothebys Meraux sale on June 28, 1993, lot number 3; which sold for $3220. Height 17.5"
