in excellent condition. The blue cobalt finish on the globe has been redone, but otherwise this clock is all original with bright yellow fire gilding intact. This is a time and strike model, the dial with 12 individual cartouche with Roman numerals. A small steel hand points to the time (just before 11 in this image). The detail on the mermaids is quite good; two are visible in image and the third is behind. The marble base has shades of gray and dark purple, plus retains its beaded trim and gilded footplate. Runs and strikes. Height 18"
