properly signed with beehive and "A-M", serial number 4842, in BAMBU case style. According to Charles Allix, "This very distinctive style, introduced during the final decades of the 19th century while bamboo furniture was still in vogue, needs no further description once the photograph is seen." Moreover this particular clock has multicolor silvered side panels and dial mask with tropical themes, butter and dragon flies. This is a time, strike, repeat and alarm model and is in very good original condition; one minor chip at top of rear glass. Retains original silvered platform in good order.
