Hrgr, Rue de la Paix 28, Paris, brass cased carriage clock. This well made clock is triple signed: dial, movement and shuttered rear door all with name and address. When this clock was restored maybe 50 years ago, the case was polished and lacquered and the engraving has lost its sharp edge (still attractive). In addition the movement bears number 505; retains original lever platform in good order, and all beveled glass is good. Bourdin received medals at Paris Expositions in 1844, 1855 and 1867 for carriage clocks, etc. This is time, strike, repeat, and alarm. Height 6"
