no. 40357, Commodore timepiece for Shreve and Co., San Francisco. This little clock was shipped to Shreve on November 14, 1908, and is the smallest commodore offered, having a 2" dial. Other than the case being polished and lacquered, it is in good original condition, with great dial with seconds hand, clearly indicating the retailer (Shreve). This clock sold for approximately $30 in 1908. Minor nicks to case; runs briskly; height 5º"
