on a sweeping ormolu frame rising from a black marble base, and in very good original condition. There are some minor chips in the dial around the winding hole from using a key too large, and another tiny chip by 3 from the attaching screw, but the clock is otherwise in excellent condition, clean and running. This little skeletonized timepiece would have been displayed under a glass shade or dome. The ormolu frame retains most of its original gilding, and the spread eagle at top is finely chased with nice detail. This and the next two lots are of similar construction. Clean and running. Height 12º"
