in very good condition, with well made replacement pendulum. The black marble base is in very good condition, with only minor abrasion along the bottom molding. Retains original ormolu feet and lion side trim with orig bright yellow gilding. The spelter statue is excellent with no evidence of repairs and with nice patina; both the statue and carriage it sets on, plus the movement with matching numbers: no. 1270. The pendulum, as mentioned is a careful copy of an original, the rod and bezel gold plated. The movement with the mark of Guilmet; the clock runs with brisk action, and of course with no apparent impulse to the pendulum; striking on a bell. Good dial +orig hands. Height 22"
