This cute little clock has an ebonized wood case with brass and colored inlays, and a cast brass handle at top. There is a little piece missing from the peak and some of the colored inlay along the bottom of the door front and base. The porcelain dial shows some repair at the bottom two corners. Both the dial and the movement are signed: "Valrey, Paris" The well made French movement has an interesting mechanism for fine adjustment of the pendulum. Typical bell strike on the hour and halves. Note the heavy beveled crystal made the numerals look distorted in the image; blue numerals are fine. Height 11 inches
