G. J. Bauer, in Wien, Grand Sonnerie wall clock in a gilt wooden frame and in very good original condition. These clock were originally designed to run for a maximum of 56 hours, but are wound daily in general use. This example is especially nice, with original gold leaf work well preserved; the outer frame with discoloration. Of note is the concentric calendar circle (numerals 13 and 25 are absent due to repair). Retains original hands and Sun burst pendulum. Height 19"
