pivoted pendulum, 8-day spring mantle clock. This clock has a beautiful pressed brass front with white dial and original hands. What is so unusual is this is an 8-day version, rather the typical 30-hour type. The clock retains its original dome which unfortunately is damaged (crescent piece in rear been taped in for a long time). For reference see Horology Americana, page 195, which illustrates another Jerome with Botsford patent escapement; note that the movement plates of the 2 clocks are identical. A wonderful timepiece. Height 9", with dome and base 12"
