for Julius C. Walk and Son, Inc, Indianapolis (engraved on dial), Ship's Strike mantel clock in excellent original condition. This clock has one of the most unusual dials ever offered by Chelsea, the "Special Copper Bronze in Reverse". The 6" dial plate is oxidized copper and the raised numerals, hands, chapter and name information is silvered (appears gold tone in photo as the lacquer has discolored in time.) This was Chelsea catalog number 3232, in red brass and sold new in 1920 for $137.00. Width 23 ", height 12"
