A full figured female caryatid holds a large white metal ball aloft which contains an 8-day bell strike French movement, serial number 2397 (matching no. on bezel), and with a new Swiss lever platform, running. The porcelain dial has some fine spider lines near the numeral 2, and is prominently signed J.E. Caldwell and Co., Philadelphia (fired permanently into the porcelain). Height 24"
