C.1825, Mark Leavenworth and Son, Waterbury, Conn pillar and scroll clock with restorations. The scrolls and skirt are recent (well done by a professional); the tablet repainted in place (top tablet original also). The risers of the case have been cut out on each side, don't understand why, and the rear dust cover is missing; movement somewhat loose in case. The dial supports were widened to fit to this case; finials are proper hollow replacements. All these points aside, this is cosmetically one of the nicest Scrolls around, and with a super old dial with original paint, and an excellent label with 1820 census and postage rates. You may continue the restorations or enjoy as is. Height 32"
