Rue de Rivol 86, Paris (signed on movement and on dial), a silvered bronze and blue lapis mantel clock in very good original condition. The lyre shaped case adorned with flowers and acanthus leaves, and has a turned lapis finial at top, a lapis panel under the dial, and over the dial behind the 'lyre' strings, and the entire base is of lapis (made of many smaller blocks glued together as is the method). The porcelain dial is excellent with floral polychrome accents, and the finely tooled hands are silvered as well. Note the dial signature is starting to weaken. Clean and in good running order. Height 15"
