Anonymous (not verified)
23 October 2024
This clock is in very nice original condition. The clock retains its original finish with a little veneer missing on the upper door, and the top molding. The side returns on the top have a little loss where someone put angle brackets to hang the clock. The middle set of columns show a little fading. The clock retains its original glasses with some loss of paint that is easily restored. The bottom glass is cracked. The dial is beautiful, but has a crack. For reference, see Ken Roberts book on Ives, page 190. One comes upon so many of these clocks with serious problems, its nice to find one in such complete original condition. Height 37"
