Dimensions:37 1/2" tall with an 8" dial Maker/Mfgr./Author/Artist:The Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Connecticut Condition:Excellent-with Circa:1901 Materials:Oak Case with brass movement and paper dial; brass pendulum bob on a wooden pendulum rod Description:The finish has been removed from the oak case. The finials are incorrect replacements.The label on the back of the clock is in excellent condition and the clock runs and strikes well on the hours and half hours on a deep and resonant gong. The pictures of the "Columbia" in the original Gilbert catalog shows this model with small, ornamental "wings" on the upper ends of the crown molding. This clock does not include them and there is no evidence on the case wood that it ever had any.
