Mahogany case with carved and gilded paw feet with hollow columns painted black with gold gilt Crest has basket of fruit with gold gilt and carved pineapple finials. Old reverse-painted table on bottom drawer. Nice clean label reads: E. & G.W. Bartholomew, Bristol, CT painted wooden dial. Time-and-strike, 30-hour, wooden-work, weight-driven movement with alarm. Height: 37 inches, Width: 16 1/2 inches Provenance: ex-collection of Peter Zaharis, Ithaca, NY
