Figured mahogany case with nice warm patina. Original reverse painted tablets and painted metal dial. Good label reads: Patent Birge & Fuller. Time-and-strike, 30-hour, wagon-spring, brass movement with exposed escapement. A very clean example. Height: 25 inches, Width: 12 1/2 inches Provenance: ex-collection of Peter Zaharis, Ithaca, NY
