Mahogany case with carved paw feet applied and turned quarter columns, carved eagle crest and pineapple finials. Case in original finish, and original tablet depicts St Peter¹s Church. Painted wooden dial. Very clean label reads: Invented by Eli Terry. Made and sold at Plymouth, CT, Eli Terry & Sons. Time-and-strike, 30-hour, wooden-works, weight-driven movement.
