Walnut case in original finish with applied ebonized decoration. Etched glass pendulum bob. The dial is paper, calendar dial is painted glass. Eight-day time-and-strike, spring-driven, brass movement. Label on back reads: This clock given to John T. Egbert and Amadelle T. Egbert for a wedding present, Oct. 16, 1888 by Fred Townley, Charles Townley, John Jackson, Andrew Conlon. Lansing, Thompson County, NY. A choice example.
