Mahogany case with carved half columns on the base. Reverse painted glass tablets in columns, and reverse painted tablet in door. Crest is carved, depicting a basket of fruit. The case has nice warm patina and old finish. The clock also has an extra-clean painted dial which is signed: Warranted by Asa Munger & Co., Auburn, NY Also an extra clean label from Asa Munger & Co., wallpaper back, and spread eagle pendulum. Another label on the clock reads: H.C. Badgley Port Byron, NY A third label reads: Charles J. Clark, Jr., Lyons, NY Eight-day time-and-strike, weight-driven, brass movement with second bit hand.
