UNSIGNED EARLY ORNATE ENGLISH BRACKET CLOCK This outstanding unsigned English bracket clock features an ornamental gilt filigree dial with platinum colored metal dial with black letters. Above is a similar platinum colored dial with black letters for chime and silent and for Westminster Chimes or chime on eight bells. The fine black lacquered with much metal ornamentation of gilt ormolu work. The fine brass and gilt works are engraved on the inside lyre as well as the pendulum. SIZE: 30" to the top of the finial, wood is approx. 15" w and approx. 9 1/2" d. CONDITION: Generally very good. Complete with a pendulum and clock key the gold gilt metal is worn with much patina. The case is structurally very good with some minor rubs or scratches and other similar signs of use
