The case is made in Livorno, typical brass and shell inlay over plywood and composition case. The 8-day time and strike pendulum movement is from Germany. This clock has all the look of an expensive original without the investment; note cast brass dial with 12 individual porcelain numerals. The bracket is separate from the clock and attaches to the wall with 2 hangers and the clock itself sets on the bracket. These were expensive when new. Height of clock only 22 1/2"; overall ht, 30"
