with U.S., German and other patents on porcelain dial. Original hands, nickel plated disc pendulum, nickel plated fret with original brass finials, and nickeled columns (unusual two-tone scheme). Original glass shade. This clock was sold by the New Haven Clock Co. who advertised it in The Jeweler's Circular and Horological Review in July, 1883. Refer to Terwilliger's 400 Day Clock Repair Guide pp. 9 and 24 for history and patents. Plating on base worn. Movement sound and complete. Serial No.2416 would likely have been made in the second year of production, the first year of which was 1882. Height with dome 10"
