This is a one family clock consigned by a lady in Seekonk, Mass, who inherited it from her grandmother. They took it to the House of Clocks in Rhode Island, and he cleaned the movement to render it running. Brass balls retain original dirt and oxidation, and the statue with original finish and minor pitting; hands and all hardware original. Support stud looks like it was soldered in very long ago and you can only detect this on very close examination under the dirt; also baton has come unsoldered in her hand is just setting there. Overall nice example for those who enjoy original patina. Height 28 1/2"
