This is a 30 hour clock that strikes the hours on a large bell overhead. It is a posted frame weight driven movement similar to that used in early lantern clocks, with a crown verge escapement and a cow's tail pendulum. The arched brass dial has cast brass spandrels and Turkish numerals. Some of these modern versions do not like to run, but this one seems to tick quite happily and strike as well. The wooden wall bracket is substantially made and simplifies hanging the clock. Dial 13", total ht 35"
