8 day movement strikes half hours and hours on a cathedral gong, and it is running. The 9 inch brass dial is signed "F. Deneker, Hamburg". Numerals on the dial are etched and painted black. A beautiful piece of mahogany wood work. Some of the wood is 1 and 2 inches thick. Underneath this case and dial is another case and dial. Don't ask me why someone would go to that trouble. A very heavy clock (clocks). Outside case is 20 inches high and 20 inches wide.
