Seth Thomas & Sons metal clock, No. 8030. Case is 14 1/2 inches high and most probably was repainted at some time in a dull bronze color.

It has a French type movement, round, bell strike, outside count wheel, and signed by Seth Thomas. The porcelain dial is not the quality of the French dials as they were easily chipped around the winding arbors, although the chipping is very minor. Seth did use very heavy beveled glasses and fancy dial rings and bezels. The pendulum is correct and the clock is running strong. Clock's complete and original. Ly-American No.866.
