Ansonia Clock Co., Ansonia, Conn. Patent Spring Brass" Thirty Hour Clocks", per the full label, ca 1850.

The 30 hour movement is unusual in shape and signed "Terry & Andrews, Bristol, Ct." During the first year of business of Ansonia Clock Co. labels and movements were intermingled. Original zinc dial, probably repainted, glass also a repaint or just touchup. Mahogany veneer case is 20 inches high, near perfect, finial tips barely clipped off. Extremely nice 150 year old clock. The springs are wired-clamped, so I didn't run the clock, but this collector's clocks are most always in good running order.
