8 day, gong strike, signed lyre movement. Nearly complete blue label, excellent black and gold glasses, a better than average painted zinc dial with only minor flaking. 15 1/2 inch mahogany veneer case has some splinters, mostly in upper right corner. What makes this clock so unusual is the stenciling on the sides and base. A rare old clock in need of minor restoration. Stenciling was predominant between 1825-1840.
