Case is made of heavy metal and was finished originally in a polished gold and fitted with 4 beveled French plate glasses, one has a small corner chip. The 15 1/4 inch case has tarnished and is now a Japanese bronze shade, which is not all that bad.8 day, striking on a cathedral gong, 2 piece porcelain dial and open escapement, near perfect. The clock has been recently serviced and is running very well. One of the imitation mercury glass vials is chipped and there is no knob on the back door. Ly-New Haven No.373.
