11 inch high wood case has tortoiseshell veneer with fancy brass inlay on the edges, front and back, with cast bronze pieces attached to the 4 edges as well as around the top. Sides and back are ebony. Convex porcelain dial and glass, brass back cover with old red material covering. 8 day movement, time only, winds and sets from the back, runs. The balance spring movement barely fits in the cutout wood case.
