Barometer of the highest grade, compensated type, knob on front for resetting the guide hand. Polished cast brass case with hinged type wheel bezel. 4 inch silvered metal dial etched in black. Fitted witan 11 jeweled, precision made 8 day, fine lever movement that strikes the ship's bells. Both units mounted on a single base of hand rubbed solid mahogany with base molding in bright polished brass. Both units are stamped "Mayflower 3". 8 1/2 inches high and 18 5/8 inches wide. Excellent and running. Ly-Seth Thomas No.1462.
