English fusee, 8 day timepiece, in excellent condition. The mahogany case is clean and polished.

The heavy iron, painted dial, is signed "T. Humphreys, Hurstpierpoint", and near mint. The top is held to the body of the case with 4 wood pegs. It has a heavy brass pendulum and brass bezel. Key lock bottom door, with the original key, string inlay around the lower glass. The top glass still has the original putty. The wire fusee movement has been serviced, and is clean and running. The side door has a wood knob latch.
