8 day, bell strike, 12 inch painted iron dial. The numerals have been highlighted. The glass was probably replaced. Great burled walnut case is 33 inches high, has elaborate carvings on the sides, bottom, and around the pendulum viewing glass. Some age and dryness separation, maybe one small veneer chip. A fine, heavy, wall clock that has survived time and travel very well.
