One of the most decorated clocks I have ever owned, heavy on the cast mounts, including the gilt case, and dial with blue Roman numerals on white cartouches. Cast doorframe with glass to fit. Even the inside of the clock is finished with tortoiseshell and inlaid bronze. Sunburst pendulum is old and correct. Case appears completely refinished, bronze and tortoiseshell are shining, stands 23 1/2 inches high. More than likely repairs were made to this clock during restoration but even so it is magnificent. 8 day, bell strike movement, made and signed by "H. Jullien of Paris". It is running.
