These early regulators used the SB Terry round, 8 day, time only movements I would think this case would have had a Plymouth Hollow label originally Some restoration has been done from time to time The sliding partitions were removed from many of these early clocks because the pendulum and weight are very difficult to hang if the partition is in place This partition and label are modern replacements The top glass has been replaced but the important one with the gold paint, is near perfect Like most all Seth Thomas dials, this one has been professionally repainted No doubt some veneering has been done but the false graining is excellent and makes it almost impossible to see any veneer repairs The flat weight that descends behind the partition is a good replica of the early ones 41 inch rosewood veneer case has a special key lock on the bottom door
