Walnut standing regulator with the typical Swiss pinwheel movement, 8 day, time only, weight driven. The movement is the best quality, enclosed in a metal box to keep the dust out, dead beat pin escapement, sweep second, retaining power. 12 inch porcelain dial, gridiron pendulum with oval brass and steel rods. This exceptionally nice clock is 8 feet 3 inches with the base pictured, and a top ornament not pictured. My display room is 8 feet 2 inches so the top ornament is not on the clock. The clock comes with an identical base that is 16 inches high so that it can be used with 8 foot ceilings. The base pictured is 21 inches. This is a beautiful clock with a lot of applied wood pieces, etchings, many turned pieces, and three good glasses. The clock has been running here for 3 years and has not previously been offered for sale.
