The associated movement signed Ralph Weston (d. 1838?) with a silvered chapter ring, date aperture, figural spandrels and phases of the moon in the arch, the hood with an outset cornice and an arched architrave raised on turned columns, the trunk with an arched and molded door raised on a molded plinth base, decorated with Chinese figural landscapes and decorative motifs in raised gilt-work on a black-lacquer ground - 85 1/2 in (217.5 cm) high.
