The 7" break arch brass dial with silvered chapter ring and spandrels, with matted centre and calendar aperture. Strike Silent and rise & fall in the arch. Signed between the subsidiary dials George Kershaw London. The three train fusee movement with original verge escapement, chiming the quarters on eight bells and striking the hour on a further bell. The back plate profuseley engraved and similarly signed as the dial, with pendulum holdfast and pull repeat. The bell top case surmounted by brass flambeau finials, with caryatid columns to each corner of the case, with brass mouldings. Brass band to the plinth, on brass bracket feet. Size: 23" - 58cm
