The 12" dial with chapter ring and spandrels, matted centre, calendar aperture, subsidiary seconds, with strike / silent ant the three o clock. Phases of the moon in the arch. Signed on a silvered plate round the arch James Clarke London. Five pillar movement with anchor escapement, rack striking on a bell. With heavy brass bob pendulum and engraved silvered rating nut. The very fine quality case with blind frets to the arch, with quartered columns and brass fillets to the hood, trunk and base. Fully overhauled.Height: 90"
