German tall clock made by Kienzle, ca 1900-1921. Heavily carved open well tall clock case is 90 inches high, 24 inches wide. 8 day, 2 weight, half hour and hour strike on a large iron gong on the backboard. The 11 inch brass dial, pendulum, and weights are completely covered with etched designs of winged angels, cherub, leaves and vines, and are all a matching set. Movement is signed with Kienzle name and their trademark. The large dark oak case is magnificently carved from top to bottom, including the backboard. Large round wood feet. The case has the original finish, is very clean and polished. Will not need anything before running. It has been in my family room running for a long time.
