Another fine example of the Balltop, may be the better of the ones in this catalog, it is less crusty. It is a nice mellow brown walnut, with original glass, pendulum, dial and full label inside the case. Strikes half hours and alarms on a bell. The top has a wood split behind the cross piece of wood molding, can't see the split from the front. 8 day movement is running. Ly-Seth Thomas, page 479.
