Gustav Becker 2 weight Vienna regulator, ca 1895-1900. The movement is signed and is inscribed with serial number 1171886. 8 day, half hour and hour coil gong strike, maintaining power, adjustable pallets, bronze seat board type mounting system. The movement is original to this case. There is some history inscribed if you can decipher it. Good 2 piece porcelain dial has no grommets, has seconds dial, and porcelain beat scale. The large 51 inch walnut case is basically very solid, nice grained back board, turned half columns, and a nice slender base. The head piece and matching finials are a later addition to this case. There are 3 good glasses and double door latches. Brass bob, bezel and weights, are polished. Movement is running and striking properly. Much clock here.
