10 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high. Contains a holosteric barometer of the highest quality, with a Fahrenheit thermometer. In a ships wheel design. Cased in solid cast bronze, and equipped with the standard Chelsea 8 day lever movement (non-strike), and is running. Golf award plaque, "Senior's Tournament, Winner Governors Trophy, Pinehurst, N.C. March 6, 1941, Won by Oscar Gregory Meyer". Beveled glasses. Chelsea Catalogue No.17, Jan. 1931. I believe the serial number is No.269682, which dates this piece to the 1940-1944 era.
